Fred Lynn Middle hosted their second Family Science Night Wednesday, December 14th. With the cold weather upon us, it was the perfect time for students and their families to use exothermic reactions to keep warm. Using vinegar, steel wool, and the scientific method, students were able to show their parents their scientific skills by creating homemade hand warmers that got as warm as 90 degrees Fahrenheit! In addition to keeping their hands warm, they were also able to keep their hearts warm by sharing a meal with friends, family, and teachers to kick off the holiday season.
